Astrocartography

Your chart projected onto the world map: the lines where each of your planets was on an angle at the moment of your birth.

Included in the Pro plan

What is it?

At the moment of your birth, each planet was rising, culminating, setting or at its lowest point somewhere on Earth. Astrocartography draws those places on a map: an Ascendant, Midheaven, Descendant and IC line for each planet.

Living or staying near a line brings the planet concerned to the fore: a Venus line for bonds and pleasure, a Jupiter line for opportunities, a Saturn line for effort and structure.

What it’s for

  • Choose a city to settle or work in
  • Prepare a trip or a move abroad
  • Understand why some places suit you
  • Complete it with the relocated chart, your chart recalculated for another place

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an exact birth time?

Yes: the lines move about one degree of longitude every four minutes. Without a reliable time, the map can’t be used.

Should I avoid a Saturn or Mars line?

Not necessarily: it asks for more effort but can suit a demanding project. What matters is the planet, the angle and what you’re looking for in that place.

How is it different from the relocated chart?

Astrocartography shows the whole world at once. The relocated chart recalculates your full chart, with its houses, for a specific city.
